Representatives from across the Colorado State University-Pueblo campus will be available on four second Saturdays this spring and summer to guide new and continuing students, transfers, non-traditional students, and graduate students through the registration and application processes.
Streamlined registration and application sessions will be held from 9 a.m. - noon on April 18, May 9, July 11 and August 8 in the CSU-Pueblo Visitor and Transfer Center, Administration 201.
According to Joe Marshall, assistant vice president of enrollment management, students may take advantage of the days to complete a variety of processes, including applying for admission or completing their application, receiving a transfer of credit evaluation, registering for summer and fall classes, or checking their financial aid status. They also can purchase a student ID and parking pass (available in July and August only), take a campus tour, and complete a housing contract. Students interested in applying should bring with them official transcripts and ACT/SAT scores.
“Second Saturdays are part of a continuing effort to make the campus more accessible to the community,” Marshall said. “We recognize that our traditional days and hours of operation may not always address the needs of our current and future students, so we’re experimenting with a variety of formats and times in hopes of learning to better serve our student populations.”
For more information, call the Visitor and Transfer Center at 549-2418 or just stop by the day of the event as no pre-registration is necessary.
