CSU–Pueblo offers free twin beds to businesses, organizations

Colorado State University-Pueblo will distribute nearly 200 twin bed frames that are available to interested individuals or businesses next week due to renovations to campus facilities.

According to Ramon Garcia, director of Auxiliary Services, the University will distribute 196 long twin-size, wooden frame pedestal beds with two attached large drawers built into the bottom. Approximately seventy-five old vinyl mattresses of varying conditions (some with tears with some patched) but all with minimal stains also are available.

“This is the first phase of replacing old furniture in the Belmont Residence Hall and we do not want to just fill up the land fill when they might be put to good use by others,” Garcia said.

All items will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis. Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 20 at the southwest entrance to Belmont Residence Hall 2200 Bonforte Blvd, Pueblo, CO.  For more information or to preview the furniture, contact Garcia at 719-549-2149.
