For the past 16 years, the Outdoor Program (ODP) has been an important part of building the community at CSU-Pueblo. The activities offered through the program are open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the university. The Outdoor Program serves as a powerful group building experience that helps participants develop new friendships, learn lifelong wilderness skills, develop leadership, increase interpersonal skills and expand appreciation and concern for the environment.
The Outdoor Program is a student run organization that provides instruction and organized trips in a wide range of land and water based activities. The philosophy of all the activities is "learn by doing". Our Program is designed to accommodate all skill levels. You will learn safe, responsible and environmentally friendly skills and techniques.
Outdoor Pursuits' trips are lead by student leaders experienced in the outdoors and excited to be sharing their knowledge with you.
