CSU–Pueblo Fine Art Gallery opens new exhibit in November

The Colorado State University-Pueblo Fine Art Gallery launches “Scaling Routine,” its newest exhibit, on Thursday, Nov. 8, with an opening reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The exhibit highlights the transcendent qualities of accumulated labor and daily routine and runs through Dec. 5, featuring historical Native American textiles from the Orman Collection and contemporary pieces by Jennifer Reifsneider, whose work according to an article on www.ArtMontana.com,  explores time and space as both a universal and personal experience and Christine Marie Davis, a surrealist artist and sculptor with a non-traditional take on traditional fetishes.

The Fine Art Gallery is open every weekday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is located in the Art/Music Building on the CSU-Pueblo campus. All gallery events are free and open to the public.
