Need to find the perfect ThunderWolf gift for your favorite Colorado State University-Pueblo alum, student, or fan? It will be much easier to do this holiday season as the CSU-Pueblo Bookstore will operate a gift store, The Wolves’ Den, in the Pueblo Mall through the end of the year.
According to Bookstore Manager Stacey Douglas, the store will officially open its doors on Saturday, Nov. 17 and will operate through Dec. 31. The 750-square-foot store will be located at the Dillards end of the Pueblo Mall next to GlowGolf and across from Steve and Barry’s.
The store will stock a variety of merchandise from clothing and mugs to plush animal toys. To celebrate the opening of the store, the first 200 shoppers with a purchase of $30 or more will receive a free toy CSU-Pueblo football to commemorate the rebirth of ThunderWolf football in 2008.
The bookstore will partner with various on-campus departments to offer a variety of sales and events for customers throughout the holiday season, including guest visits by various university representatives. The CSU-Pueblo Wolves’ Den will participate in Pueblo Mall initiatives as well, including the Night of Giving on Dec. 1, during which area non-profit organizations will receive 100 percent of the profits of sales of $5 discount tickets while encouraging customers to shop early for the holiday season. Shoppers of CSU-Pueblo merchandise should check the Wolves’ Den events schedule and listing of other sales and promotions at the Wolves’ Den by visiting the CSU-Pueblo Bookstore online at www.csupueblobookstore.com
“This is a tremendous example of the University’s many attempts to bring the University into the community,” said Douglas. “Who knows, the Wolves' Den may pop up again somewhere around town if demand warrants.”
