Groundbreaking for Soccer/LaCrosse Stadium on April 2

Soccer/LaCrosse StadiumMembers of the Colorado State University-Pueblo community, including students, faculty, staff, administrators, athletics representatives, and Foundation members, along with participating contractors, will gather to break ground celebrating the expansion and enhancement of the soccer/lacrosse facility.

Location: CSU-Pueblo Soccer/Lacrosse Field (south of the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl), 2200 Bonforte Blvd, Pueblo, CO
Why: As a result of the addition of men’s and women’s lacrosse in Fall, 2014, the existing soccer complex will be enhanced through private dollars with a new synthetic turf field, 450-seat grandstand, public restrooms, a concession area, press box, lobby, locker rooms, and offices.

  • Location – On current CSU-Pueblo soccer field

    • Five (5) Locker Rooms, each with 50 lockers
    • Public restrooms, concession area ticket booth, press box, and lobby area
    • Synthetic turf field
    • 450-seat grandstand
  • Schedule – Start project in Spring 2014 and complete project in Fall 2014
